We think our universe was static, it is static and it will be remain static forever.
Means it will remain forever, but this hypothetical thought disproven when we found our beginning of the universe. Because any thing which created means it must have to be destroyed.
 Our Universe came in existence after the Big Bang theory, when a single point, which is smaller than the nucleus of an atom expand vigorously. That hypothetical object named 'singularity'  which was floating in nothingness. Here a question arise- why is it there and how it form? Unfortunately no one can answer. One more question- What is nothingness? Fortunately we can describe it, nothingness is a place where the law of physics is powerless. In other word, you think there is nothing in a empty box, but it contains air particles, now you will put that box is space and say now it is empty, but space is the interwoven fibre of the space and time which is also something. But nothingness means nothing. But there is not any nothingness in our cosmos (scientists predict singularity is in backholes). Singularity was something which was extremely small which we can't perceive, having infinity mass and infinity temperature. We can't find this object unless we reach the centre of the black hole. Today, what we see, what we breath every thing was once squeezed into the singularity. But why this singularity becomes the cosmos.
 This event was most strangest and mysterious when this singularity start expanding. The explanation of the beginning of the universe will be post on 'Simple Science', soon so let's come on the topic.
 When scientists studying the beginning of the cosmos they contributed expansion of the universe keeps accelerating, which was completely opposite to the first explanation. Firstly we think that expansion of the universe slows down by the gravity. Scientists contribute that expansion of the universe accelerate by the unknown force which can't be explain named 'Dark Energy'. They also contribute that this energy present all around us with their own dose. About 70% of every energy is content of dark energy, which oppose gravity and keeps the universe expanding. You can understand it simply by just let the space-time as the surface of the balloon which is expanding. If we draw two marks on the balloon with the expansion on the balloon surface you will observe that the distance between those two marks is increasing. Here a question arise- If universe is expanding then why the our body doesn't separate, distance between Sun and Earth remains unchanged and so on?
 And the answer is the three forces of the universe,
 1. Gravity- Keeps two huge masses in the universe at same distance.
 2. Electromagnetism- Keeps atoms, elements and molecules unchanged.
 3. Strong Interaction- Keeps protons in a nucleus unchanged (distance).


But what will happen when balance between gravity and dark energy becomes imbalanced, when dark energy becomes very much than gravity. At that time firstly this expansion will be feel by the galaxies when they start traveling apart from each other. And if dark energy becomes more than electromagnetism then we knows that the earth and sun will have traveled apart, even our body becomes separated. And finally what will happen when dark energy becomes more than Strong Interaction, at that time not any mass will be their in the cosmos except quarks.

 But the end of the universe will come when the dark energy start becoming weaker and weaker than than the gravity. Once it will becomes weak then our entire cosmos start collapsing in to each and finally stops with a singularity. This is also a hypothesis that when cosmos start collapsing, then the time will start moving reverse, means everything which is destroyed start creating. Means once again the dinosaurs will see the sun.

 But what happens when the balance between gravity and dark energy remain as like now, if balance between a gravity and dark energy remain intact, then it would not going to the end of the universe by collapsing in to singularity or by expanding. The size of the universe will continue increasing to the unpredictable size, because gravity will never come dark energy and dark energy will never overcome gravity. But there will be a time come when gravity give up to dark energy or dark energy submit to gravity and at that time, the countdown of the end begins.
